Tomas de Wouters, is the co-founder and CEO of PharmaBiome, a Swiss biotech company developing microbiome-based therapeutics. With a background in engineering and a doctorate in biology, Tomas has over a decade of experience studying the intestinal microbiota and its role in health and disease. He co-developed PharmaBiome’s proprietary technology platform, which enables the design of next-generation microbial consortia for clinical applications. His leadership combines scientific expertise with entrepreneurial vision, driving innovation in microbiome therapeutics to address unmet medical needs in gastrointestinal and metabolic disorders.
